What is Fabriqer and what is it used for?

Fabriqer is software designed to automate and optimise the process of creating technical quotes in machining workshops, helping save time, reduce errors, and professionalise budget management.

Who is Fabriqer intended for?

It is designed for machining workshops that produce parts on demand from a 3D model.

What sets Fabriqer apart from other management software?

Fabriqer is not a generic ERP. It is specifically designed to optimise time in machining workshops, with features such as automatic 3D file conversion, measurement extraction, volume calculation, material selection, and generation of customised quotes with just a few clicks.

What types of 3D files does Fabriqer accept?

It accepts .step files and common native formats such as .sldprt, .x_t, .x_b, .ipt, .catpart, .prt, .sat, and .3dm. Native formats are automatically converted to .step so you can use them immediately in your workshop.

Can Fabriqer calculate prices automatically?

Currently, it does not include AI to predict prices, which will likely be added in the future. Instead, it calculates prices based on the material, phases, and work times you define. The big advantage is that you can preconfigure your most common processes and costs and generate a quote in just a few clicks.

Can I define my own materials and prices?

Yes. Fabriqer comes with a large default database of materials, alloys, supply states, finishes, and common machining phases, but you can also add and customise everything according to your needs.

How can I customise the PDF of my quote?

Quotes can be exported as PDFs with your logo, image, and corporate colours. You can also customise the quote coding according to your standards. By default, quotes include an image of each part and general measurements, giving your quotations a highly professional appearance.

Do I need to install anything to use Fabriqer?

No. Fabriqer works 100% online. You only need a web browser and an internet connection.

How much does Fabriqer cost, and what does the free version include?

Fabriqer operates with a flexible pricing system based on the number of parts you have stored in our cloud. You can start for free: the free version allows you to save up to 10 parts, adding new ones as long as you remove the old ones. If you need more capacity, you can upgrade to a paid plan starting at €99/month, which lets you store up to 500 parts. No credit card is required to start, and you can try the software without commitment.
